A LIMITED edition product from a popular preserves and spread manufacturer has been released in honour of King Charles III’s coronation.
Wilkin and Sons has released its new limited edition Tiptree Coronation Mayonnaise ahead of the monarch's forthcoming coronation.
The unique mayo is a blend of Tiptree mayonnaise, mango chutney and a touch of spicy curry powder to create.
Described as a “creamy spiced sauce”, the mayo is said to compliment everything from chicken and turkey to rice and eggs and will work well in a sandwich or a wrap.
Produced in a nut-free factory, the mayo is free from artificial colours and flavours and is made using rapeseed oil, free range whole eggs and egg yolks.
It is even suitable for vegetarians and coeliacs.
Scott Goodfellow, joint managing director Wilkin & Sons Ltd said: “As holders of a Royal Warrant since 1911 it seemed appropriate to launch a special Coronation Mayonnaise that can be used in many ways to add a touch of spice to family celebrations or for larger parties this summer.”
The special mayonnaise costs £2.99 for 165g and is available to buy at Tiptree Tea Rooms, independent retailers and tiptree.com.
