FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man following a road crash in Tolleshunt D'Arcy.
Colchester and Maldon fire crews were called to Maldon Road after a car went into a ditch and the driver became trapped.

Crews used specialist cutting equipment to free the man just before 6pm on Tuesday, April 5.

A spokesman from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 5.14pm to help a driver stuck in a ditch.
"Crews stabilised the vehicle and used specialist cutting equipment to free the man by 5.55pm.
"They administered first aid before leaving him in the care of the ambulance service."
