Maldon’s Liberal Democrats are fielding a record number of candidates in this year's local elections.

She is joined by a team of other candidates with a history of community activity, including volunteering with many different communities.
They say their main drive is to listen to residents and campaign for the infrastructure that they believe the area so badly needs, including better access to GP and health services, more school places, improved transport and roads, and youth services.

Ms Spenceley said: "Since my election nearly a year ago, I have worked hard on key issues, bringing some clarity on the new flood alleviation scheme plans.
"Residents who have contacted me for help know that I respond quickly and do all I can for them. I am so excited that we now have a fantastic group of like-minded people who all want to work for the community, too."
