A POPULAR splash park has announced its opening dates for families to enjoy in the coming months.

The Maldon Splash Park, in Promenade Park, is now open and has announced its future opening dates for the summer.

The outdoor play area, managed by Places Leisure will be open for its pre-launch from Wednesday, May 31 to Sunday, June 4.

The park will be open to the public from 12pm to 4pm on its opening days.

The park was recently renovated with a new selection of interactive and accessible play equipment and a new surface.

The park is also open for bookings from Saturday, July 8 for the summer season until Sunday, September 3.

A spokesman for Maldon Splash Park said: “We are delighted to announce our pre-launch opening week this month.

“The Splash Park is located in the centre of Promenade Park in Maldon, offering a family friendly environment for all to cool off in on those hot summer days.
