A POPULAR annual horticultural and dog show is returning to Southminster.
The Southminster Flower and Dog Show is taking place on Saturday, July 15, at the King George V Memorial Field in Southminster.

This year the event will host extra attractions for children and competitions for handicrafts, horticulture and floral artists.
A spokesman said: "This year we are pleased to say as well as the usual marquees with all the competitive exhibits of handicrafts, horticulture and floral art, there will be the extra attraction of the Children's World Fun Park rides for younger children.

"As usual, there will be a variety of arena events and stalls to browse, food and drink on sale and of course the chance to enter your dog into the fun dog show.
"We hope you will come and enjoy this show, and we are still in need of volunteers to help the event continue.
"We appreciate all those who support our very small committee on the day."
Tickets are £3 for adults and under-16s go free.
