The project's main goal is to significantly reduce the school's carbon footprint and lower energy costs.
If successful, the school could save £14,000 per year on energy bills initially, with savings projected to rise to £38,000 after ten years.
These savings would allow the school to allocate more funds to education and benefit children.
The share offer, which has already garnered pledges of support surpassing 70 per cent of the target, will allow individuals and businesses to invest between £100 and £20,000.
The initiative has been awarded the Community Shares Standard Mark, which recognizes adherence to national standards of good practice.
Funds raised will be used to improve the school's infrastructure, including the installation of a ground source heat pump and solar panels, as well as the replacement of oil boilers.
Other upgrades will include double glazing, loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, and LED lighting.
These improvements are expected to save significant amounts of energy each year.
Investors in the scheme will contribute to the fight against climate change by reducing carbon emissions by over 90 per cent at Tollesbury Primary School, which is equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide captured by approximately 50,000 trees in a year.
