A WOMAN is in a critical condition in hospital after a two-vehicle collision near Cold Norton.
A Ford Fiesta and a Vauxhall van were involved in a collision in Lower Burnham Road just before 11am on Friday.
The Fiesta driver, a woman aged in her 60s, suffered severe internal injuries and remains in hospital, where her condition is described as "critical".
A passenger in the Fiesta and the Vauxhall driver were also injured in the smash.
Two air ambulances and multiple emergency response vehicles were sent to the scene.
A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage to a collision near Cold Norton where a woman was left in a critical condition.
"It was reported a black Ford Fiesta and a white Vauxhall Vivaro van were in collision in Lower Burnham Road shortly before 11am Friday.
"The driver of the Fiesta, a woman in her 60s, has sustained multiple internal injuries and is in a critical condition in hospital.
"A passenger in the Fiesta, a man in his 60s, and the driver in the Vauxhall, a man in his 30s, were also injured."
