A DRIVER accused of causing serious injury to a motorcyclist who had to have part of his leg amputated will have to wait more than a year for her trial.
Martyna Jackowska, of The Drive, Mayland, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday.
She pleaded not guilty to causing serious injury to a motorcyclist by driving a Mercedes carelessly in Drury Road, Colchester on September 7 last year.
Jackowska's trial, which is expected to last five or six days, will not get underway on February 17 2025 due to the backlog of cases in the criminal justice system.
She is on unconditional bail.
