AN election is set to take place for a new parish councillor in the Maldon district.
One councillor is set to be elected to take the position of Heybridge Parish Council West Ward councillor.
Maldon District Council is holding an election for a new councillor.
Residents can have their say by nomination paper by delivering them to the Returning Officer, Princes Road in Maldon.
They can be delivered from Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm but no later than 4pm on Thursday, August 24.
