ESSEX Police wants to speak to two men after a substance was poured over a road surface causing a risk to motorists.
Officers are investigating after a substance was left covering an area of Lower Burnham Road, Cold Norton, at about 9.30pm on Sunday, September 17.
The same thing was reported to have happened previously on Tuesday, September, 12 in the same location, causing the surface to become slippery.
This resulted in a risk to road users and officers have launched an investigation into both incidents.
Officers investigating have released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with their probe.
A spokesman said: "If you can help us identify these men or have any information or footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us."
