A ROAD in the centre of a village will be temporarily closed whilst works are completed.
High Street in Southminster will be temporarily closed to allow for new service works to be carried out by Essex and Suffolk Water.
The road will be closed from its junction with Kings Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a south-easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, November 15 for three days.
A spokesman for Essex Highways said: “The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing or displayed on one.network.
“The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
“An alternative route is available via High Street, Burnham Road, Kings Road and vice versa.”
