A BIRD'S-EYE view of Tollesbury's swirling saltmarshes stars in a leading magazine's new calendar.
The stunning aerial shot, which features the red Trinity lightship, will help people kick off the New Year as January's entry in Coast magazine's calendar.
Tollesbury rubs shoulders with some other iconic views of Britain's coastline.
Tourism bosses are hoping it will lure more visitors to Essex.
Visit Essex chairman and Maldon councillor Mark Durham said: “Essex has a beautiful coastline. From sandy beaches, meandering estuaries to rugged cliffs, the county has it all.
"I’m really pleased to see our coastline represented in Coast’s spectacular calendar amongst all the nation’s most well-known tourist destinations, such as Brighton Pier and Lyme Regis.”
Coast magazine also listed Mersea Island in its round-up of must-see destinations for 2024.
The much-loved seaside spot made the short list thanks to its pastel-coloured beach huts, country walks, sailing and water sports.
