A DRIVER was taken to hospital after his car crashed in Asheldham.
Firefighters from Tillingham fire station were called to the scene of the crash on Green Lane yesterday (January 31) at 3.30pm.
The driver of the car involved was taken to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesman for Tillingham fire station said: “Today we attended a road traffic collision in Asheldham.
“The crew helped clear the scene and left the driver in the care of the ambulance service.
“Essex County Fire and Rescue Service have been called to several accidents recently, so please take care when driving.”
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just after 3.30pm yesterday to a single-vehicle road traffic accident on Green Lane in Asheldham.
"An ambulance and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"An adult man was transported by road to Broomfield Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
Essex Police has been contacted for more information.
