A CAFÉ in Southminster will be temporarily closed as new owners prepare to take over the business.
The Little Southminster Café, which is based in the High Street is now under new ownership.
It will be renovated to become Ettie’s Coffee Shop with a temporary closure in place while the works are underway.
The new owners have launched a survey in a bid to create a coffee shop that meets the needs of the Southminster community.
The survey says the intention is to support the village’s people and economy by using producers, suppliers, contractors and staff from the Southminster area.
The new owners also hope to help bring residents back to the High Street to enjoy other businesses there.
Meanwhile, the survey itself has five questions.
The questions enquire about the ideal days and times people visit coffee shops, as well as what would influence their decision to visit a specific location in the first place.
Further questions ask about the items purchased in a coffee shop visit, such as hot drinks, bakery items or sandwiches.
