A REGISTERED charity providing support and activities to adults with learning disabilities raised hundreds of pounds through a fundraising event.
Maldon Pioneers Association held an afternoon tea at the Maldon United Reform Church on March 23.
Members of the pioneers helped serve teas, coffees and cakes to the public, alongside running various other stalls.
Town mayor councillor Andrew Lay also visited the event.
A spokesman said: “The afternoon tea was a success raising nearly £500 in funds to go towards a charity concert that the Pioneers will be putting on later in the year.”
