Brave rescuers saved a Great Dane in Maldon which got stuck in the mud.
Firefighters were called to the Hythe, Maldon, at 10.17am on June 13, after four-year-old Emily had got stuck in the mud, and was struggling to get out.
Emily had jumped off a boat into the River Chelmer, where she was unable to free herself.
A fire and rescue crew from Waltham Abbey worked safely to rescue Emily and were able to reunite her with her grateful owner shortly after.
