AN accomplished chef who has cooked for high-profile clients is launching a cookery school.
Michelin award-winning chef Mick Binnington opened CHEF School of Cookery this month.
Based at Howells Farm, in Maypole Road, Maldon, the school is located in a converted barn in the countryside which offers a range of classes for all abilities.
The classes are suitable for home cooks, professionals, and the school is available for private hire and corporate team-building events.
The expert has more than 20 years’ experience in the culinary industry and formerly worked in a head chef role with the Gordon Ramsay Group in London.
In February, the individual opened a high-class restaurant called PLATES, in Mill Road, which was formerly the site of Bloomsburys Art Café and Bookshop.
Mick already owns a successful luxury private events business, cooking for celebrities and high-profile clients.
An open evening is being held on June 20 between 6pm to 9pm, where members of the public can enjoy a glass of Champagne, see the school and ask questions.
An open morning will be held on June 23 from 10am to 1pm.
