THE date of a popular event set to return to Maldon’s Promenade Park later this year has been revealed.

The town’s famous firework display is back at the venue this November.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Maldon, the event is described as “the perfect community event to celebrate Bonfire Night”.

Last year’s event was a big success, with thousands of people enjoying the show.

The display was staged by an award-winning display team, who are holders of the National Firework Championship.

There was also a floodlit lake and stage plus performances by local artists Mains’ Haul and a fire-breathing act from Joel Hicks.

This year’s event sponsor is TFP Financial Planning, based in Maldon.

The company is an award-winning chartered financial planning business which specialise in helping aspirational couples aged 50 and over to navigate their complex financial situations and build a retirement that works for them.

The bosses at the firework event have thanked the business for its support.

Maldon’s fireworks event will be at the Promenade Park on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
