THE BLACKWATER Medical Centre has bid farewell to a long serving member of the team, after 28 years of service.

Dr Linda Lim had her final day on June 25 as she retired.

Dr Lim has practiced medicine for 38 years and was hailed for playing an integral part of the COVID vaccine being rolled out during the pandemic.

Dr Lim said: “Connecting and caring for my patients has been the most rewarding part of my 28 years at Blackwater Medical Centre.

“I feel humbled and honoured to have been caring for three, sometimes four generations and I thank the patients for the opportunity to provide care.

“I am confident that in leaving you will be in most capable hands with the doctors, nurses, and all supporting staff at Blackwater Medical Centre.”

Blackwater Medical Centre said that Dr Lim “will be sorely missed by her colleagues as well as her patients”.

Patients showed their appreciation for Dr Lim as they posted messages on the surgeries Facebook page, who sent her their best wishes ahead of her retirement.
