A POPULAR event is returning to Maldon's Promenade Park this week.
Maldon Council has confirmed that the UFest community festival is coming back to the venue on Friday,
The free community festival celebrating life, health, and wellbeing promises to offer a diverse range of activities, entertainment, and support services for the entire community.
Maldon Council leader Richard Siddall said, “I am really pleased that UFest is returning to Maldon Promenade Park again for 2024.
"The festival has received lots of positive feedback since it began in 2022, and the team behind it have planned an even bigger and better festival this year.
"UFest will give residents an opportunity to take part in activities, try something new and find support they might need.”
This year there are six zones to experience: Health and Wellbeing, Children and Family, Sport, Blue Light, Discovery and Climate. Take part in the UFest Trail and visit each zone to get a prize!
Free activities will be running from 11am to 4pm, including live music, interactive stalls, and events for the whole community.
There will also be a selection of games, sports, and activities to get involved with throughout the day.
The event is back at Maldon Promenade Park on Friday, August 16.
