STUDENTS at Ormiston Rivers Academy, in Burnham on Crouch, have received their GCSE results after their exam success.
The academy, part of Ormiston Academies Trust, is celebrating the achievements of its students, who have worked exceptionally hard to secure these grades over the past couple of years.
The whole academy community is incredibly proud of its students, many of whom will be continuing their education journey at the academy’s Sixth Form.
The school had some high achievers and highlighted some of those who received exceptional grades.
Theo Jenkins achieved grade 9’s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Additional Maths, Computer Science, English Language, English Literature, Business Studies and History.
Eva Saunders achieved grade 9’s in Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Computer Science, English Language, English Literature and History, grade 8’s in Biology and Additional Maths and a double distinction in Engineering.
Nathan Flynn who achieved grade 9’s in History, Maths, Additional Maths and Physics, grade 8’s in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and English Language, grade 6 in English Literature and a double merit in Engineering.
Joshua Burke achieved grade 9’s in Biology and Chemistry, grade 8’s in English Language, English Literature, French, Maths and Physics, grade 7’s in History and Additional Maths and a double distinction in Personal Health
All four will be continuing on to the Ormiston Academy Sixth Form where they will continue their education.
