LANGFORD'S Museum of Power is hosting a special event packed with entertainment centred around Steampunk.
Steampunk is a subgenre of science fantasy or science fiction which uses aesthetic design and technology inspired by 19th Century steam-powered machinery.
It encapsulates where the Victorian era meets the future and steam is the fuel for all technology, in a mix of science fiction, fantasy and historical fiction.
There will be stalls, live music, a burlesque workshop, Steampunk market, fancy dress, ‘tea duelling’, tea pot racing, umbrella fencing, Steampunk magic, the Astaria Model Village, miniature steam train rides, a crafty cabin and the Steam Pump Tea Room will be open.
Singer Alice Strange will provide the live music.
Extra charges apply for the miniature train rides - £2 for adults and £1 for children.
The event takes place on Sunday, September 22, from 10am to 4pm.
Ticket prices are £9 for adults and £5 for children between the ages of five and 15.
Admission is free for under-fives.
