A NEW tuition centre has been opened in Maldon, that specialises in helping primary and secondary school students with maths, English and reading.
Pro-Tuition Maldon is the second centre that the company has opened, with their first in Dunmow being open since 2020.
The Maldon centre opened last Tuesday, September 11.
They have been awarded the Best Tuition Centre in Essex two years in a row.
In addition to helping children with maths and English, they help with 11 plus exam preparation.
They have tailored learning plans designed to address individual needs. The process begins with a free educational assessment to evaluate each student’s current performance and identify any learning gaps or targets.
After non-stop work to get the centre ready through summer, it has finally opened.
Centre director, Schalk Meyer said: “Our goal is to be the go-to educational provider in the area, being recognised for the difference we make in so many students' lives.
“What better goal to have than seeing children improving in their reading, building confidence and excel in school or achieve a place in a grammar school or get brilliant grades in their GCSE.
“It feels brilliant to have this centre open, we have put a lot of thought into creating an environment which is fun and stimulating for students to come and learn.
“Children want to switch off and relax at home but when they come to Pro-Tuition, they walk into a vibrant, friendly and positive learning environment which gets the most out of them.
“I received a message from our first student's mum saying that she loved the lesson and the centre and can't wait to come back next week.”
The aim for the centre was to replicate their flagship venue in Dunmow, replicating the vision, learning environment, good practice and systems.
The centre has six qualified teachers, who have started at Pro-Tuition Maldon and a number of teachers who will be working at both the Pro-Tuition centres.
Even though doors only opened on Wednesday September 11, the centre already have lessons up and running every day of the week (Monday to Saturday).
