MALDON'S team of police for the town have been promoting awareness of 'drink spiking' on the High Street.
The Maldon Town team have been continuing to promote awareness around 'drink spiking', with this week being the national week of intensification on the issue.
A spokesman from Essex Police - Maldon District said: "We anticipate that on a sunny Friday afternoon, people will be planning on enjoying some of the lovely bars that Maldon has to offer.
"We have been having some really interesting conversations with people and we have been handing out merchandise and crime prevention advice."
