A “SIGNIFICANT” amount of cannabis plants were found as Maldon’s policing team conducted another raid in the disrict.
The Maldon Town Team and Maldon Community Policing Team joined forces on Monday morning to execute another search warrant.
The team formed up at a location in Tillingham after they received information which led to a search warrant being issued by the Magistrates Court for a residential address.
The front door was quickly breached using the 'Halligan bar' and a battering ram.
Officers entered the address and detained an individual inside the address.
A search of the address revealed a significant amount of cannabis plants.
Multiple rooms had been converted into 'growing rooms'.
Sgt Dalby of the Maldon Town Team said: “The team has once again executed a search warrant which is a positive result.
“I am in danger of repeating myself but if you are drug dealing or producing drugs, my team who are experts in acquiring and executing search warrants, will find you, you will be arrested and we will use the full force of law to hold you accountable.
“I would encourage anyone with information about drug dealing or production to report it online at our website or via Crimestoppers.”
