Fans of Maldon's 'iconic' Thames sailing barges enjoyed a sneak preview of a new exhibition.
Red Sails, at the Maeldune Centre, features paintings old and new of the famous red-sailed barges.
All works are owned by the Maldon-based Thames Sailing Barge Trust, including several by artists from the area, all offered for sale.
Buyers can choose their favourite painting and collect it when the three-week exhibition ends on October 22.
Admission to the Maeldune Centre is free.
The gallery is at the junction of Market Hill and Maldon High Street, and open 11am to 4pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays.
