A HUGE disco band has been announced as part of a popular event returning to Maldon next year.
Soultasia is a live concert series that showcases 40 years of soul and disco music.
The event first started in Maldon in 2021, just after the pandemic, and saw more than 10,000 visitors.
Hosted by Ian Reading, the popular concert has announced it will be back in 2025, celebrating its fifth anniversary at Maldon’s Promenade Park in June.
The latest announcement reveals Earth, Wind and Fire Experience by Al McKay.
From the US, original Earth, Wind and Fire songwriter and guitarist Al McKay will be alongside a band featuring ex-members of Earth Wind and Fire and The Dooble Brothers performing the legendary Disco anthems and Soul classics including September, Boogie Wonderland, Let's Groove and more.
The concert will also see well-known artists, such as 80s R&B group, Shalamar, funk band, Incognito, as well as Shakatak, The Real Thing, Harry Cambridge and Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno.
Soultasia will be back in Maldon at the Promenade Park on June 8.
Gates will open at 2pm with the concert expected to finish by 11pm.
