COLCHESTER United midfielder Max Jolliffe has joined Maldon and Tiptree on loan.
The 18-year-old, who signed his first professional contract with the U's in June, will play at the Pitching In Isthmian League club under Colchester coach Dave Huzzey, who is boss of the Jammers.

Writing on social media, Maldon and Tiptree FC said: 'We are delighted to announce the loan signing of Max Jolliffe from @ColU_Official.

Jolliffe, who joined Colchester two seasons ago after leaving Arsenal, progressed through the under-18s to make a number of appearances for the under-21s, in the 2023-24 campaign.
He was one of four Colchester under-21 players from last season to sign new deals this summer, along with Harrison Chamberlain, Frankie Edwards and Milton Oni, who made his professional debut for the U's earlier this month.
