MALDON and Tiptree have parted company with first-team manager Dave Huzzey.

The Jammers are now looking for a new boss following the departure of Huzzey, who took over at Park Drive in the summer after succeeding U's legend Jamie Cureton in the hot seat.

Huzzey, who is Colchester United transition coach, has presided over 13 games in Pitching In Isthmian League division north since taking charge.

The Jammers, who currently lie in 19th place in the table, were beaten 1-0 at home by Gorleston, on Saturday.

In a club statement issued this morning, Maldon and Tiptree said: 'Maldon & Tiptree FC can confirm we have parted ways with first-team manager David Huzzey.

'We thank David for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.

'The club will begin the search for a new manager immediately.'
