MALDON Rugby Club are gearing up for the new season.

They will embark on their new season in Essex League division one when they entertain Dagenham on September 19.

Maldon have, however, already begun their pre-season training with touch rugby sessions.

The sesions are being run on the Drapers Farm rugby pitches from 7.30pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening.

There is no cost for this and the club would like to encourage all those interested in trying the sport aged over 17 to come along to try it out.
