THE Forrester Park ladies’ section competed in the second round of their 12-hole Winter League.

It was won by Irene Hoffman with 21 points.

Hilda Hazell had the same score but was beaten on count back.

Jane Collier took third place with 17 points.

The third round of the veterans’ winter league was a better ball stroke play competition.

The winners with net 62 were Bryan Bowring and Kevin Royan.

Tom Nugent and Gerald Pearson were second with nett 64, a score matched by Jeff Atkinson and Bob Nice, Mike Donovan and Frank Porter and George Lintner and Bill West, with a countback sorting out the places.
