MARTYN Cook and Pete Hawkins have been presented with the Maldon Golf Club Winter League trophy.
The presentation ceremony, which was held on Sunday, was the culmination of 16 weeks of competitive winter golf, during which over 30 pairs competed for the Ben Volta Trophies.
This year it was decided to play the competition as two eight-week leagues.
Cook and Hawkins ran out winners of leagues one and two, thereby avoiding the need for a head-to-head play-off and they were presented with their winners’ trophies.
