Michael Horton secures St Patrick's Day Flag competition win at The Warren
THE Warren staged their St Patrick’s Day Flag competition.
It was won by Michael Horton with an excellent 38 points.
Second place was taken by Sam Drane with 34 points on countback from Luke Mepham.
The Warren Jubilee Cup/Norman Plum trial match versus Colne Valley took place last week.
The Warren came away with an excellent victory by 14 holes, using the Hambro system.
The Warren, led by team captain Jason Derham, retained the trophy for the first time away from home and their leading pair were Neal Manley and Graham Middleton who won their match by nine holes.
